![]() ![]() What I ended up doing was finding what I believed to be the approximate location for myself, then looking up exact co-ordinates with Google.īy the way, you'll know when you've done all of them because Buck will tell you you've found all the treasures. Anything rather than trying to visit every point in a, say, 5x5 square. With the fun of the quest being in finding the treasure within a map square, it would be helpful to have some in-game terminal guidance - for example, having your current position added to the projector when you're actually on the chart. The real pain is finding the precise location of the treasure - even if the chart does give the precise location accurately (which I'm a little dubious about - the relative sizes and distances of islands don't look quite right to me), actually finding it in game is a game of blindfolded darts where you only get told whether or not you've hit the bullseye, not how badly nor in which direction you've missed. And also this is a good way to support developers.Yeah, the Portolan charts could have done with a bit more playtesting - comparing the image on the projector screen with the navigation map in the ship's cabin is okay, though it would be nice to have some way to see both images at the same time rather than needing to either remember or manually copy the chart in order to be able to compare it to the map. So, I again, suggest you to take a look at the Digital Artbook. So you probably still have an opportunity to finish this side quest?.Ĥ - Hades alludes to that he is the Death, which takes many forms - from cancer to old age and even missiles. Remember - this is just your homework, so try to do it before you will meet your teacher next time.ģ - you can actually buy one Obol at the non-raccoon trader and I think that at the end you should have one spare Obol. Maybe that concept with railroad will then come in handy :PĢ - yeah, only Glims. I hope if there ever be a sequel - we will see Buck, Stella and Lilly in it. I think he just waits for Lilly now, even though he already have been through the Evergate. ![]() Lilly told stories about Buck to Stella and Stella started to idealize him in some manner. Buck was a friend of Lilly - Stella's sister, and died while they were teenagers. As for why you can't meet him as a hooded spirit - it's probably because Stella never actually knew him while they both were alive. This you can learn through the Artbook, as well as many other spirit stories, so I suggest you to try it out. Please only read ahead if you've finished the game. But i just wanted to finally understand these characters before the end! :) Beautiful game overall. Ironically this is probably just ME failing to let go - which is the very motif of the game. What was he meant to represent in the context of the game world? I really feel like its missing one final memories section where you get to piece together all the scraps that have been doled out throughout the game, and understand Stellas true story and how its interwined with the others from the boat. ![]() So in the Spiritfarer world he's not her responsibility. He wasn't a patient of hers, but a young kid she was told about after he had already passed away - but he still left a great impression on her. Last thing - did i miss a final cutscene or anything with Hades? When Stella goes through the Everdoor, theres no Spiritfarer to take her on the boat (I'd assumed Buck was going to become the new Spiritfarer to learn to deal with his own demise) - and you never see Hades the owl again even though he said he would see us one final time at the end. Buck however, as you've already noted, is different. Did anyone take 2 Obols to that guy while they had them? Can you clue me in on how that storyline continues please?! I can't put another 30 hours in just to get a non-important dialogue box XD I forgot to go back and spent my last 2 on the Mining/Fishing upgrade shrine. There was a fake shrine on a mountaintop to the north east of the map - the guy there said it would cost 2 Obols to repair it. However no one seem to have acknowledged that i completed the quest, it just ends with you cashing them in like any of the normal jobs. I cleared all the postcript missions for Elena (the additional shopkeeper quests) - they all pay out big money though at this point i already have all the ship upgrades and every building upgraded. Is there anything further to do with him? I just left him with the usual "Commander" talk going on! I wasnt sure if he was meant to represent Stellas brother (with the coins) or what story-wise. Please only read ahead if you've finished the game.īuck (the green RPG loving lizard) was left on the boat as the only traveller who couldnt go through the everdoor - he said something mysterious about how he's been through it before so he can't go again. So i've got a couple of questions regarding the endgame - just finished it today. ![]()
